Aggie Ring Day*

Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center

Over 6,200 excited Aggies will receive their Aggie Rings. Activities include: The Career Center polishing Aggie Rings; Benjamin Knox '90 signing prints; free samples from Slovacek's Sausage; the MSC Book Store selling official Aggie Ring Day T-shirts; and many photo opportunities including Bus 12 and the Spirit of '02 Cannon. Aggies Abroad Breakfast*

8:00 AM – 10:00 AM

Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Building (ILSB)

Study Abroad Programs Office sponsors a breakfast each year on Family Weekend. The event is free and open to the public. The event is designed to provide students and parents with the opportunity to speak with our advising staff during breakfast then view a presentation and hear from a student panel.Breakfast will be served from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. Please RSVP between March 9, 2018 and April 6, 2018. https://tamu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3szb9VgZYi1Crl3.

Downtown Street & Art Fair*

Downtown Bryan, 200 Block of W. 26th Street

The event features artists and artisans from across the region selling their handmade creations. There will also be live music, hands on art demonstrations and street performers for your entertainment. Over the last several years, Downtown Bryan has actively fostered arts & culture. This fair continues to build on that by inviting our local artists as well as regional artists to support the rebirth that is occurring there. We hope you can make it out and find a one of a kind treasure of your own. Admission is free and participants are encouraged to spend the afternoon and experience all that Downtown has to offer.

Freudian Slip Improv Show

Freudian Slip Improvisation Comedy Troupe is putting on a Family Weekend-themed Improv Show! Tickets are $6 at the MSC Box Office.

 

Texas A&M Singing Cadets Spring Concert*

7:30 PM

Rudder Auditorium, $

The Texas A&M Singing Cadets, internationally known as the "Voice of Aggieland", will be performing at their Annual Spring Concert on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 7:30 PM in Rudder Auditorium. Now in our 115th touring season and performing over 100 concerts this year throughout Texas and the United States, we are honored to bring it back to Aggieland for Family Weekend!

Buck Weirus Spirit Award Ceremony*

10:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Clayton W. Williams Alumni Center

The Buck Weirus Spirit Award honors up to 55 students each year who demonstrate high INVOLVEMENT, create positive EXPERIENCES throughout the Aggie community, IMPACT student life at Texas A&M and enhance the Aggie SPIRIT. Unlike other awards, the Buck Weirus Spirit Award recognizes those students who make contributions to the university through participation in student organizations, Aggie traditions and university events.

Parking Information for Ring Day and Family Weekend 2017

Pre-pay Ring Day parking is available for purchase in West Campus Garage via ParkMe. Pre-pay now.

Event parking will be available all day Friday April 7, in West Campus Garage for $5 per entry and at Cain Garage at the Hourly Visitor rates. Express shuttles will run Friday from 10 AM - 7:45 PM from West Campus Garage to Lot 48.

Limited disabled parking spaces are available in the circle drive along Houston Street.

Pre-pay Family Weekend parking is available for purchase in Cain Garage, West Campus Garage, and at Reed Arena via ParkMe. Pre-pay now.

Visitor parking is available in Cain Garage and University Center Garage* for $10 per entry and in West Campus Garage for $5 per entry.

*NOTE: University Center Garage fills early in the day, so visitors are encouraged to park in Cain Garage or to park in West Campus Garage and use the Pedestrian Passageway to cross under Wellborn Road.
