FRIDAY, APRIL 7

Memorial Student Center
Barnes & Noble @ Texas A&M University located in the Memorial Student Center will have extended hours for Family Weekend. The bookstore will be open Friday April 7th 8am-10pm. Stop in and pick up your Official Family Weekend T Shirt. While you are in the store check out the clearance section. All clearance is an additional 50% off April 7th - 9th.

Over 6,200 excited Aggies will receive their Aggie Rings. Activities include: The Career Center polishing Aggie Rings; Benjamin Knox '90 signing prints; free samples from Slovacek's Sausage; the MSC Book Store selling official Aggie Ring Day T-shirts; and many photo opportunities including Bus 12 and the Spirit of '02 Cannon. Study Abroad Programs Office sponsors a breakfast each year on Family Weekend. The event is free and open to the public. The event is designed to provide students and parents with the opportunity to speak with our advising staff during breakfast then view a presentation and hear from a student panel. Come and join Kappa Alpha Theta for our 32nd Annual Rock the Casa 5K and Silent Auction! All the proceeds from our event will be donated to Scotty's House, Voices for Children of the Brazos Valley, and Theta Foundation. All of these organizations are non-profits. The annual LAUNCH Family Weekend Brunch helps build community and celebrate success of students, faculty, and staff. The informal program includes student entertainment, student recognition, and the opportunity to visit with other students in the program. Current TAMU students in the University Honors Program, Undergraduate Research Scholars, and Undergraduate Research Ambassadors and faculty are invited to attend the brunch free of charge. Downtown Bryan, 200 Block of W. 26th Street 
The event features artists and artisans from across the region selling their handmade creations. There will also be live music, hands on art demonstrations and street performers for your entertainment. Over the last several years, Downtown Bryan has actively fostered arts & culture. This fair continues to build on that by inviting our local artists as well as regional artists to support the rebirth that is occurring there. We hope you can make it out and find a one of a kind treasure of your own. Admission is free and participants are encouraged to spend the afternoon and experience all that Downtown has to offer.  

Class Councils' 11-11 Day Silent Auction*

11-11 Day, as an enrichment program of Class Councils, strives to support and serve the veterans of Texas A&M through the use of the Aggie Rings for Veterans Endowment. This silent auction will generate funds for the endowment to ensure student veterans who have earned their Fightin' Texas Aggie Rings have the financial resources to make this celebratory university symbol a reality. 

Nursing School Tours

Current nursing students will offer tours for their families of the nursing school classrooms and simulation center. Refreshments will be provided. 

Friends of the Sterling C. Evans Library Annual Meeting

Cushing Memorial Library, $
Dr. Judith Benner will be the featured speaker discussing "Lawrence Sullivan (Sul) Ross: the Legend, the Man, and the Legacy". Speaker program begins at 12:30 PM. There will be a silent auction, book sales with featured authors, and the exhibit on Texas, Shifting Frontiers: Texas from Spain to Space. All proceeds will support the preservation of Texas A&M historical artifacts. Cost is $45 per person. To register, please go to http://friendsoftamulibraries.org/. Texas A&M Singing Cadets Spring Concert*

The Texas A&M Singing Cadets, internationally known as the "Voice of Aggieland", will be performing at their Annual Spring Concert on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 7:30 PM in Rudder Auditorium. Parking Information for Ring Day and Family Weekend 2017

Pre-pay Ring Day parking is available for purchase in West Campus Garage via ParkMe. Pre-pay now.

Event parking will be available all day Friday April 7, in West Campus Garage for $5 per entry and at Cain Garage at the Hourly Visitor rates. Express shuttles will run Friday from 10 AM - 7:45 PM from West Campus Garage to Lot 48

Limited disabled parking spaces are available in the circle drive along Houston Street.

Pre-pay Family Weekend parking is available for purchase in Cain Garage, West Campus Garage, and at Reed Arena via ParkMe. Pre-pay now

Visitor parking is available in Cain Garage and University Center Garage* for $10 per entry and in West Campus Garage for $5 per entry.
*NOTE: University Center Garage fills early in the day, so visitors are encouraged to park in Cain Garage or to park in West Campus Garage and use the Pedestrian Passageway to cross under Wellborn Road.
