Aggie Ring Day - The Aggie Ring is the most recognizable symbol of the Aggie Network. Each year, thousands of excited Aggies gather at The Association of Former Students to pick up their Aggie Rings. 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center.
Mays Business School Department of Management Undergraduate Scholarship Reception - Congratulations to our junior and senior Management majors who were selected through a competitive application process to receive the prestigious scholarships offered through the Department of Management! 3:30 pm - 5:00 pm, Wehner Building, Cocanougher Center.
Who's Who Awards - Students selected for Who's Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges have excelled as members of the Texas A&M University community to such a degree that they should be acknowledged as exceptional student leaders. Their contributions in leadership, service, campus activities and academic achievement set them apart from others as models to emulate for students at Texas A&M University and other institutions of higher education. 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm, Rudder Exhibit Hall.
Kook-Off for the Kids - The 2nd annual Kook-Off for the Kids, hosted by TAMU Greek Life, is a cook-off competition with teams competing from all over the Bryan College Station area hoping to raise money for the Brazos Valley Food Bank's "Backpack through Hunger" program, which provides food for children at risk for going hungry over the weekend. Please stop by and show your support by donating, buying a t-shirt, and trying some real Texas Barbeque! 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Duncan Field.
Women’s Tennis vs. Ole Miss - Texas A&M's nationally ranked women's tennis team will host Ole Miss in SEC action at the Mitchell Tennis Center. Admission charges apply. 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Mitchell Tennis Center.
Corps of Cadets Unit Awards and Corps Review - The Corps of Cadets honors those units which excelled as a result of their skill, discipline, and teamwork during the year. Following the Unit Awards, the Corps of Cadets will conduct a pass in review. 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm, O.R. Simpson Drill Field.
Parents' Weekend Shabbat Dinner at Chabad - Every week Jewish students at Texas A&M gather together for Shabbat dinner. Parents are welcome to join us and experience first-hand the warmth of Chabad and our weekly Shabbat dinner. "Chabad, the Heart of Jewish Aggie Life!" Texas A&M Women's Chorus Spring Concert - "New Beginnings" will showcase all of the hard work the Texas A&M Women's Chorus has put in during this year. The choral concert will feature one half of beautifully crafted, traditional choral pieces, and one half of modern songs by artists like Adele and Taylor Swift, sung in four-part harmonies. We will also have a Silent Auction filled with wonderful prizes to raise money for our international trip next summer. This year, we have welcomed our new director Eric Posada, who has really brought out our full potential. We cannot wait to share that with our fellow Aggies and visitors. 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm, Rudder Theatre.

International Family and Aggie Ring Social - Join your International Student Services (ISS) Family to celebrate a successful year in Aggieland. We will be recognizing international students who have received campus wide awards and all of our International Aggies who received their Aggie Rings! "Lysistrata: A Woman's Translation" by Drue Robinson - The Department of Performance Studies presents "Lysistrata: A Woman’s Translation" by Drue Robinson, directed by Anne Quackenbush. In this modern translation of the Greek comedy "Lysistrata," women and men square off to prove who is in charge. Witness the surprising and provocative ploy by the women of Athens to stop the war against Sparta. Zany antics and slapstick abound in this fantastical retelling of an ancient story. Aggies Abroad Parents' Weekend Breakfast - Come have a free breakfast and learn more about all the international opportunities available through Texas A&M University. You will learn about planning and financing your Aggie’s international experience, health and safety overseas, and the rewards of studying abroad . In addition to Study Abroad personnel, representatives from Financial Aid and the Career Center will attend to share their expertise. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. followed by a presentation by Dr. Pamela R. Mathews, Vice Provost for Academic Affairs, and a panel of students sharing their experiences overseas. Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band Award Ceremony - This annual awards program recognizes the individual, unit, and group accomplishments of Fightin' Texas Aggie Band members throughout the academic year. 8:30 am - 9:30 am, Rudder Auditorium.
College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Bridging the Gap - Parent Appreciation Breakfast - Students who are in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences are invited to bring their parents (or themselves) to this event. The purpose of this event is to provide a fun, learning experience for students and their parents, as well as show our parent appreciation. Come eat a free breakfast, participate in departmental activities, network with other stakeholders in the college and learn about the diversity across majors in the college. There will also be student performers who will exhibit their talents. This is hosted by Freshmen Leadership Experience on West Campus from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on April 12th. 9:00 am - 11:00 am, West Campus.

29th Annual "Rock the CASA" 5K and 1.5 Mile Walk - Join us at Kappa Alpha Theta's 29th Annual "Rock the CASA" 5K and 1.5 Mile Walk on Saturday, April 12th with 100% of the proceeds benefiting our philanthropies Scotty’s House and CASA-Voices for Children! Scotty's House is a local child advocacy center that provides comfort and counseling services to abused children. CASA, Theta’s national philanthropy, stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates, which is dedicated to advocating in court for the best interest of abused children. Math Awareness Open House - The Texas A&M Math Department's Math Awareness Open House will take place on Sat. April 12 with the theme "Mathematics, Mystery and Magic." There will be math contests for different age groups, a game room, two lectures, movies and a pizza lunch. All ages are welcome! Registration for the contests will be at 9 am at Blocker 166. Offshore Drilling: The Promise of Discovery Exhibit - George Bush was a successful and pioneering Texas oilman, first on land and then offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. As a tribute to his role in the development and use of the innovative independent leg offshore jack-up rig Scorpion launched by LeTourneau in 1956, the exhibit tells the story of offshore drilling. It focuses on the history, development and future of offshore drilling, with an emphasis on the work of George Bush, emerging technologies and ongoing research at Texas A&M University. A video wall highlights careers and life on board a rig. See models of the various rigs, platforms and supply vessels that are used in the industry, and pieces of drilling equipment. 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, George Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
Downtown Street and Art Fair - Nestled in the heart of Historic Downtown Bryan, the annual Downtown Street & Art Fair features the best of local and regional arts and crafts. Art and finely crafted items are for sale from 10 a.m.- 6 p.m. Live music and art activities for children add to the fun. After browsing the Art Fair, be sure to stroll along Main and Bryan streets and stop in the many shops and boutiques. Take a look at the progress being made on the Historic Queen Theatre, then choose from the many dining options available to complete your day. 10:00 am - 6:00 pm, 26th Street in Downtown Bryan.
Corps of Cadets Individual Awards Ceremony - The Corps of Cadets presents individual awards honoring cadets and members of the staff and faculty, 10:15 am - 11:15 am, Rudder Auditorium.
Academic Success Corridor: Connecting Student Academic Success - Student, Parents and campus visitors are invited to visit the "Academic Success Corridor" that connects students to academic success. The Academic Success Center, Honors & Undergraduate Research, Professional School Advising, Public Policy Internship Program, Transitional Academic Program, Undergraduate Studies & the University Writing Center will share information, ideas and best practices designed for student success. Engage in face to face writing consultation sessions, conducted by the Writing Center; browse portfolios, scrapbooks, and posters and meet scholars and student ambassadors from Honors & Undergraduate Research; and meet with representatives from Undergraduate Studies Offices to learn about the services offered and the benefits of participation. 10:30 am - 12:00 pm, Interdisciplinary Life Sciences Building Lawn.
College of Engineering Brunch - All engineering students and parents are invited to the annual Parents’ Weekend Brunch on Saturday, April 12th 2014 at 10:45am. This event, sponsored by the Look College of Engineering and Student Engineers’ Council, will include a complimentary lunch, entertainment, a student speaker, and a guest speaker from the engineering faculty. The event will conclude with tours of various engineering departments. We are excited to extend this invitation to show our appreciation for your support of the Dwight Look College of Engineering! Hollingsworth Leadership Program Certificate Ceremony - The Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets Hollingsworth Leadership Excellence Program will award cadets who have completed the program with the Academic Certificate in Leadership Studies. It an academic award that is noted on students’ official university transcripts and verifies participants have included with formal education, a series of training and development opportunities. 11:30 am - 12:30 pm, Rudder Theater.
Legett Hall's 10th Annual Alumni Picnic - An annual picnic put on by Legett Hall Council for the former residents of K.K. Legett Hall. A lunch will be provided and tours of Legett will be given by current residents. We welcome back all former Longnecks and Ladies! 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm, Back Tables of Legett.
F1: First Year Photo Project Final Show - Please come to the MSC Art Gallery and see what the members of F1 have been working on all year! Refreshments will be provided and guests may park in the Central Campus Garage for less than $7.00 during the event. The event will be held in the J. Fish Drill Team Performance - Precision performance of the Corps of Cadets Fish Drill Team, a drill unit composed entirely of freshman cadets. They compete in precision drill competitions around the country and have won the national championship almost every year since they were created in 1946. 1:00 pm - 1:20 pm, O.R. Simpson Drill Field.
Ross Volunteer Company Performance - Performance of the Ross Volunteers, the oldest student organization in the state, composed of selected junior and senior cadets. The unit is the official honor guard for the Governor of Texas. 1:20 pm - 2:00 pm, O.R. Simpson Drill Field.
University Libraries Open House - My Aggie Starts at the Libraries! Stop by Cushing Memorial Library between 9–11 a.m. to see our extensive World War I exhibit. After lunch, come back to Sterling C. Evans Library between 2–4 p.m. for dessert and refreshments. Librarians will give tours of our facilities and present a special exhibit of Mapping Historic Aggieland. Don’t forget to check out our photo booth where you can take a family picture with all your Aggies. We will send you home with a commemorative frame and photo! 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Sterling C. AT&T Aggie Spirit Football Game - The 12th Man gets to be a part of the football action this year. Play in one of this year's parents vs. students football games, watch the action, enjoy a snack from food vendors, or stop by the AT&T booth for more fun activities! 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Duncan Drill Field.

The Texas A&M Annual Singing Cadets Spring Concert - Since the beginning of Parents Weekend, The Texas A&M Singing Cadets Annual Spring Concert has been a traditional mainstay to our campus and highly attended. The Texas A&M Singing Cadets, founded in 1893, are Texas A&M’s internationally known Male Chorus. Buck Weirus Spirit Award Ceremony - The Buck Weirus Spirit Award honors outstanding students each year who demonstrate high INVOLVEMENT, create positive EXPERIENCES throughout the Aggie community, IMPACTstudent life at Texas A&M and enhance the Aggie SPIRIT. The Buck Weirus Spirit Award recognizes those students who make contributions to the university through participation in student organizations, Aggie traditions and university events. The Buck Weirus Spirit Award Ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate the award recipients’ achievements with their friends, family, and the Aggie Network. 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Clayton W. Kyle Field Day - Kyle Field Day, hosted by MSC Fish, is a one-day service event put on to teach students and families in the B/CS area about service, and is a great way to make a big difference in only one day. Currently in its fourth year, it is open to the entire community of Bryan/College Station and focuses on spreading awareness of issues in and around Texas. Various local and professional organizations set up booths and activities to help participants realize the plight of others around them and assist in a small way. This year it will be held April 13 on Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park. There will be free food and live performances by musicians and performers, so bring the family for a fun afternoon of service! 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park.
